about us

Cowboy Coffee Inc. was founded on July 4, 2010, by Scott and Annette Delbridge in Molalla, Oregon, with a vision to create a community hub where young people, including their own children—Peter, Drew, Mitchell, and Ty—could gain valuable work experience while learning the importance of work ethic, character, and community service. What began as a single coffee shop at 806 E Main St. has grown into a beloved hometown staple, serving Molalla for over a decade.

Our motto, "We are in the people business, we just happen to serve coffee," reflects our commitment to connection and community.

As the business expanded, Scott and Annette purchased and restored the historic Prairie House Inn, a beloved Molalla landmark, transforming it into a nostalgic, old-fashioned AirBnB that captures the town’s charm. They opened Cowboy Coffee’s second location at 524 E. Main St. in the inn’s lower level, blending history with hospitality. In November 2021, we proudly launched our signature house coffee roast, crafted with care in partnership with BJ’s Coffee Roasters. In December 2021, we expanded further by opening our third location in Mulino, Oregon. Now a decade-old hometown staple, Cowboy Coffee continues to partner with local businesses to deliver high-quality coffee with a heartfelt commitment to Molalla’s values.

Meet Our Founders

Scott Delbridge, a retired Chaplain (Colonel), has served in the National Guard and Reserves since 1981, becoming a Chaplain in 1991. He deployed to the Middle East in 2003 for a year with the 1/162 IN Oregon Army National Guard and again in 2009 to Baghdad, Iraq, at Camp Victory with the 41 Infantry Brigade Combat Team. His service-oriented spirit shapes Cowboy Coffee’s mission to give back to the community through meaningful employment and support for local initiatives.

Annette Delbridge dedicated her entire career to public education within the Molalla River School District, becoming a generational figure in the community. Her leadership extends beyond the classroom, having served on numerous boards, including the police station initiative. In 2021, she was honored as the Molalla Area Chamber of Commerce’s "Person of the Year" for her tireless contributions to Molalla. Annette’s passion for nurturing young minds and fostering community connection is at the heart of Cowboy Coffee’s mission.

Our Mission

Cowboy Coffee is more than a coffee shop—it’s a gathering place where community thrives. Each year, we dedicate an entire month to “Share the Love,” Molalla’s largest community fundraiser, proudly supporting nearly all local schools, many sports teams, and a wide range of community events. As an annual Diamond-level sponsor of Share the Love, a partner in hosting the Hometown Vintage Market at Coleman Ranch, and a supporter of the Historic Molalla Buckeroo, we invest in the heart of our town. We host numerous community boards and collaborate with local businesses to uphold Molalla’s values, creating a welcoming space where everyone can enjoy a cup of comfort and feel at home.

Our Commitment

At Cowboy Coffee, we put our money where our mouth is, fostering a space where quality service and community connection go hand in hand. Proudly sourced by BJ’s Coffee Roasters and partnered with many local businesses, we’re dedicated to serving Molalla with warmth, integrity, and exceptional coffee. From our annual sponsorship of the Historic Molalla Buckeroo to our role in hosting the Hometown Vintage Market, we are committed to building a legacy of community, comfort, and care. Come visit us at any of our three locations and experience the hometown difference.
